Download and install MetaMask

Download and install a Chrome browser plugin called MetaMask. This will allow websites (that you authorize) access to your Ethereum account.

Buy some Ethereum

If you made a new account, buy some Ethereum. The MetaMask plugin has a button that will allow you to buy Ether from Coinbase.

Start bidding, buying and selling

Once you have the plugin installed, this website will recognize it and add buttons that allow you to bid on, buy and sell Suns directly in the interface.

What IS TEN THOUSAND SUNS?

Ten Thousand Suns is a collection of 9,096 Stars which correspond to each star of stellar magnitude 6.5 or brighter.

Every star visible to the naked eye from Earth.

What is the science behind the stars?

Each star is mapped to its physical stellar counterpart.

The stellar properties OF include: spectral type, absolute magnitude, constellation membership, and Bayer-Flamsteed designation.

Where does the data Come from?

We are releasing an open-access, data enriched edition of the Yale Bright Star Catalogue.

In addition to the 9,095 stars within the star catalogue we have also included sol, our home star.

How can I access the stars?

The STARS are accessible as an interactive experience in web browsers.

The stars may also be accessed as an immersive experience in both augmented reality and virtual reality.

The stars will be released to Museums and academic institutions for education purposes.

how can i access the space island?

A private sale of the stars will be announced.
proceeds of the sale will fund the development of the space island metaverse.

Patrons of the project will join the research-focused community through discussion channels, progress updates and participation in real-life experiences.

Some of the proceeds of Ten Thousand Suns will be used to support research through donations to universities and foundations.

Individual Grants may also be issued for novel research into exciting space-related inquiries.

How many stars can I mint?

Thank you for supporting the project!

Everyone will be able to mint as many Stars as they choose. In order to give everyone a fair chance & prevent bots from sweeping, each transaction will be limited to 5 Stars.

We will ultimately be guided by the community in order to ensure fairness and maximise everyone's chances of success

What is the smart contract address?

We’ll release a verified contract and share it week before the presale.

Any early supporters interested in testing the strength of the contract can be given access to the test net and will be given a guaranteed spot in the presale.
